How it works
How do I start playing a quest?
To start the quest, go to the designated starting point and press Start. The quest will unlock automatically if it was paid, and you can begin your mission.
Do I need an internet connection to play?
Yes, currently you need internet access to play a quest. But the consumption is extremely low, so don’t worry too much about it.
How much battery does the app need?
Try to have your phone as charged as possible before starting. Anything above 50% should be fine.
Can I play the quest whenever I want?
Yes, unless there are time limitations explicitly mentioned in the quest description.
Can I stop the quest and continue later?
Yes, anytime, as many times as you wish. Just tap on the menu icon while playing and choose the Pause button. To start again, just open back the app, tap on Play and then choose Resume.
I bought a quest. On how many phones can it be played?
A quest booking gives access to play on 4 different devices.
How can I invite others to play with my booking?
Use the Invite a friend section that will become available on the quest page right after purchase and insert the e-mail addresses of the friends you want to invite.
I paid the quest using my Apple account, but now it asks me to pay again
Go to your profile in the top right cornet and tap on Restore purchases. In most of the cases this will solve it. If not, just contact us using the Support button.
I used Tripadvisor/GetYourGuide/Booking.com to buy a quest. What do I do now?
Firstly, check your e-mail (spam folder included), you should have all the instructions there. If you can’t find the e-mail, please contact us using the Support feature in the app.
When I insert the code in the Unlock quest section (Android only) it says it was already used
This means your quest has already been unlocked on your account. Just refresh the app and go the quest page to start playing.
I have an iPhone and can't find the Unlock quest section
This section is available only on Android. Your quest will be unlocked automatically using your e-mail address. If you can't play it, please contact us by e-mail at: email@example.com
How can I get a refund?
You can ask for a refund if you notify us 24h in advance to the booking time or if you couldn't play the quest due to technical issues. To proceed with the refund, just contact our support team by using the chat available in the app (Profile - Support - Questo Support) or by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will manage your refund in less than 24h.
I want to create a quest in my city. What do I do?
Please contact us at email@example.com. Mention details regarding your writing experience, the city you live in, your idea for a quest, and any other details you deem necessary.
I have an issue with the app. What can I do?
Please contact us by using the chat available in the Support section.
What happens if I can’t solve a clue?
Use the ‘Ask for help’ feature in the app.
